This study employed the analytical cross sectional stud design. The study was conducted to determine the relationships between the level of knowledge and extent of self reported practices regarding comprehensive disaster risk reduction management in basic education among elementary public school teachers at Municipality of Bongao, Province of Tawi-Tawi.. Five hundred and twenty three (523) elementary public school teachers participated in the study. the Survey was conducted using a self administered structured questionnaire divided into three pillars of Comprehensive DRRM in Basic Education. Findings revealed that majority (54.7%) of the respondents’ level of knowledge score was at an average level (14-18 out of 30) and with the mean self reported practices score of (3.26) which entails that the respondents implemented SDRRM to some extent. For the correlation analysis it shows that there was a negligible correlation between knowledge score and means score of self reported practices (r=0.122). The study concluded that the teachers’ level of knowledge scores were at an average level and extent of self reported practices were practiced to some extent. Further analysis showed that there was a negligible correlation between knowledge and self reported practices which imply that there was no linear relationship found between these two variables.
